A Message from Samuel Waters, President and CEO
March 30, 2020
As COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Montana, none of us are sure how long it will last. We’re all experiencing the same uncertainty around what’s going to happen next. Although our bank lobbies remain closed, you’ll continue to have full access to funds and/or the services you need, along with some added assistance.
What we’re doing
First Community Bank is offering to defer up to six monthly payments on your consumer and commercial loans starting with your April payment. Your next payment could potentially not be due until October. To accept this loan deferment offer, please contact your local branch. During this time, we will also waive all late charges and the bank will not initiate any foreclosure proceedings. If you are concerned with your mortgage payment, please contact your lender.
If you experience overdrafts during the crisis, please call us. We will be looking at them on a case-by-case basis and may refund your fees and cover your checks. If you’re a small business owner and face struggles due to the Pandemic, please call one of our lenders so they can get you information about SBA’s disaster relief program.
Lastly, a reminder that although branch lobbies are closed, and our Froid branch is closed until further notice, FCB is open for business and will remain so. As mentioned above, you’ll continue to have full access to funds and/or the services you need, when you need them.
Please continue to use our: Drive-ups and Night Deposit Slots, ATM’s, Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Telephone Banking. If you are new to online or mobile banking, please feel free to call any of our branches to have someone walk you through either option.
Most important, keep positive. This crisis will pass and until then, let’s all be grateful for what we have, and the opportunity to spend more time with our families. We’re resilient Montanans and nobody in our community is facing this alone. Together, we’re strong.
President and CEO
