Update from Samuel Waters, President and CEO

With new developments related to the Coronavirus outbreak and the recent spike in cases in many of the communities we serve, we have decided to temporarily close some branch lobbies beginning Friday, July 10. These closures will remain in effect until further notice.

We have protective gear, social distancing practices and customer health guidelines in place, and we’re still asking our customers to handle all teller transactions through our drive-ups or modified lobby access. Mobile, night deposits, online and telephone banking will continue to be an option for you.

For services that require access to the lobby, we recommend making appointments to ensure social distancing. In the lobby, you’ll find social distancing signs, floor markers and hand sanitizer. And our staff will be working behind plexiglass shields, with some wearing gloves and masks. For security purposes, if you are wearing a mask, we may ask you to remove your mask briefly upon entering a branch. All of our workstations and all high traffic areas will be cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals throughout the day.

For everyone's safety, we ask that you:

  • Refrain from coming in the lobby if you feel sick or are showing any signs of illness.
  • Maintain six-foot social distancing.

Note:  We continuously monitor the lobbies and if they become overcrowded and social distancing guidelines cannot be met, you may be asked to make an appointment or wait outside.

We’ll watch to see how Montana as a whole performs during this economic reopening. We will remain agile and prepared to immediately enact any state or county directives that come our way. We'll continue to update the website when any changes occur - and always feel free to call any of our branches with questions.

As we reassess daily to help ensure that all of us stay safe, we want to thank you for your support and patience as we navigate these challenging times .

Thank you.
