A Message from Samuel Waters, President and CEO

Following the State of Montana’s lead, we will open our lobbies up to the public beginning May 26th with regular business hours.

We’ll have protective gear, social distancing practices and customer health guidelines in place, but we’re still asking our customers to handle all teller transactions as we currently are, through our drive-ups or modified lobby access. And mobile, night deposits, online and telephone banking will continue to be an option for you.

For services that require access to the lobby, we will continue to recommend making appointments to ensure social distancing. In the lobby, you’ll find social distancing signs, floor markers and hand sanitizer. And our staff will be working behind plexiglass shields, with some wearing gloves and masks. For security purposes, if you are wearing a mask, we may ask you to remove your mask briefly upon entering a branch. All of our workstations and all high traffic areas will be cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals throughout the day.

For everyone's safety, we ask that you:

  • Refrain from coming in the lobby if you feel sick or are showing any signs of illness.
  • Maintain six-foot social distancing.

Note:  We will monitor the lobbies and if they become overcrowded and social distancing guidelines cannot be met, you may be asked to make an appointment or wait outside.

For the first few weeks, we’ll monitor how Montana as a whole performs as we reopen the economy. We will remain agile and prepared to immediately enact any state or county directives that come our way. Opening up more of our operations will depend on our experience. We will continue to update the website when any changes occur - and always feel free to call any of our branches with questions.

We’re excited to move forward and believe that if we all work together, we’ll get back to a safe, new normal soon.

Thank you.
