COMMUNITY PARTNERS

At First Community Bank, we define success as working together, because we know that when we do, we’re more effective getting things done for our customers. The same goes for our commitment to working together on behalf of our communities.

That’s why we’re establishing ongoing relationships with organizations that work hard to serve our communities every day. We're allying with organizations that do great work, and do what we can to further their causes.

F Lee Teen Suicide

What if you could save even one life?
Welcome our Community Partner, Frederick Lee, Teen Suicide Prevention Advocate. Mr. Lee, travels the state of Montana helping communities learn how to prevent the tragedy of Teen Suicide. Montana has the highest Teen Suicide rate in the country, and Mr. Lee has firsthand experience after losing his 13 year old son in July, 2018.

Since then he has been a tireless advocate. He knows that if you know what to do, you can help save a child and their family from ever experiencing this tragedy. Along with his personal story, and utilizing QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer), a proven prevention technique that you can learn in under an hour, Mr. Lee travels through the state teaching communities how to save lives.

Helena Food Share

Meet our Community Partner: Helena Food Share, who has been working to create a hunger-free community since 1987. Believing that access to food is a basic human right, they've created frontline programs that get results.

They initiate food drives, fight childhood hunger with Kid Pack challenges, work with every grocery store in Helena to rescue edible food that grocers cannot sell and fed 8,744 individuals in 2018 at their year-round food pantry. For more information: https://helenafoodshare.org/

We salute their ongoing efforts and look forward to building alliances with other Montana Food Bank Network partners across the state.
